Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 22 September 2026
Scope of This Policy
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of Course A, the culture and entertainment reporting guide offered by celeborix. The course covers studio segments, event interviews, camera setup, lighting techniques and responsible media workflows. It governs both one-time digital access purchases and any subscription options for ongoing updates or supplementary materials. The policy explains how payments are handled, when contracts form, your rights to cancel and the conditions under which refunds may be issued. It covers services delivered digitally to customers in the United Kingdom and elsewhere, subject to local consumer laws.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated at checkout. Prices include applicable UK Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate. No hidden fees apply for standard digital delivery. If your location requires additional import duties or local taxes on digital goods, these remain your responsibility and are not collected by celeborix. Promotional discounts are applied automatically where eligible and cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.
Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal and other secure payment gateways displayed at checkout. Payment is authorised immediately upon order submission. All transactions are processed through PCI-DSS compliant providers to protect your card details. celeborix does not store full payment card information. Authorisation holds may appear on your statement until the transaction completes or is declined.
Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
After submitting your order you will receive an email confirmation containing order details and a unique reference number. A binding contract forms only once we send this confirmation and successfully process your payment. Until then, either party may cancel without liability. Access credentials or download links are provided only after successful payment confirmation.
Cancellation Rights and Periods
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of contract formation during which you may cancel for any reason. Digital content such as Course A begins immediately upon delivery of access, so you must expressly consent to waive the right to cancel once access is granted. If you have not started the course you may still cancel within the 14 days and receive a full refund.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items
Refunds are available for unused digital access within the 14-day period if you have not commenced the course. Once you have accessed any module or downloaded materials the purchase becomes non-refundable except in cases of technical fault on our side. Promotional bundles, gift subscriptions and completed courses are excluded from refunds. Services already rendered, such as personalised support sessions, are non-refundable.
Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund
To request a refund contact us via the form on our Contacts page or email [email protected]. Provide your order reference, full name, email address used for purchase and reason for the request. Include any supporting evidence such as screenshots of access issues. Requests must be submitted within the applicable time limits to be considered.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification
Upon receipt we will acknowledge your request within five working days. Our team reviews each case against the policy criteria. You will be notified of approval or rejection by email, together with an explanation if refused. Approved refunds proceed to processing; rejected requests include information on how to appeal or contact the relevant ombudsman if applicable.
Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Credit or debit card refunds typically appear within five to ten working days, while PayPal refunds process within three to five working days. Bank transfers may take up to fourteen days depending on your provider. We notify you once the refund has been initiated. Delays beyond these periods should be reported to [email protected].
Special Rules for Digital Content and Subscriptions
Course A is supplied as digital content. Once access is granted and you have begun viewing modules, the 14-day cancellation right is lost. Subscription renewals continue automatically unless cancelled at least seven days before the renewal date. You may cancel future renewals at any time through your account settings, stopping further charges but not entitling you to a refund for the current period.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges and Chargebacks
If a payment fails we will notify you and attempt to reprocess once. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded automatically where confirmed. Chargebacks or suspected fraud trigger an immediate account review and may result in permanent suspension of access. We cooperate fully with banks and authorities in fraud investigations while protecting legitimate customer rights.
Mandatory Consumer Rights That Cannot Be Excluded
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to goods and services of satisfactory quality and the 14-day cancellation right where applicable. UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations also govern how we handle your personal data during payment processing. If any term conflicts with mandatory law the law prevails.
